These two women are shining examples of what can be achieved using talent, willpower, concentration and burning ambition.

World Champions
In September 2007, September 2008 and Setember 2009 the two athletes realised one of their key ambitions by winning the World Championship gold in their favourite 28.2 kilometre marathon distance. Their World Championship result is their crowning achievement to date, and the culmination of several years' persistent efforts which secured the athletes silver and bronze medals in the two preceding years of competition.
